HOW TO CAPTURE YOUR PRINT
1. Set the scene. Choose a quiet moment when your pup is calm and relaxed. Treats are highly encouraged! Make sure their paw is clean, dry and free of excess fur.
2. Start with the paper. Place an impression card on a hard, flat surface and secure it with painter’s tape if needed.
3. Place the ink pad on top. Position the ink pad directly over the paper, following the red sticker to make sure the ink side faces down toward the paper. (Important: Your pet never touches the ink. Their paw or nose only touches the clean film side of the pad.)
4. Press gently. Gently press their paw or nose onto the clean side of the ink pad. A soft touch is all it takes. For paws, you can lightly roll from side to side for a fuller impression.
5. Lift straight up. Lift their paw or nose straight up and away to help prevent smudging, then carefully remove the ink pad.
6. Let it rest. Let it dry. Allow the print to dry completely before touching or framing it.
