For the Dogs

Dogs don't come in one standard shape. Grab a soft measuring tape and measure neck, chest and back length first, then compare against the chart for your product.

Which hoodie fit do you have?

  • Stretchy dog hoodies — Everyday hoodies with stretch and relaxed movement.
  • Dachshund hoodies — Longer backs, shorter sleeves and fits designed for low-rider legends. See the Dachshund Fit table in the dog hoodie size chart, or shop Dachshund hoodies.
  • Big Dog hoodies (extended sizes) — Roomier chest and neck fits for large and giant breeds. See the Big Dog Fit table in the dog hoodie size chart.

How to measure your dog

A Better Fit Starts With Three Measurements

Use a soft measuring tape to measure:

  1. Neck: Around the base of your dog's neck where a collar naturally sits.
  2. Chest/girth: Around the widest part of the chest, usually just behind the front legs. This is often the most important measurement for dog apparel.
  3. Back length: From the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Leave enough room for two fingers between the measuring tape and your dog's body. Consider whether the garment will fit comfortably over your dog's head.

If your pup is between sizes, broad-chested, fluffy, muscular or long-bodied, review the product-specific recommendations before ordering. Minimal-stretch hoodies generally require sizing up.

Always use the size chart for the exact product.
